HOW TO CONVERT YOUR PHONE INTO AN INTERNET MODEM 1

Good day all. To day am going to show you some ways in which you can connect your pc to the net via your phone, this is just like using your mobile phone to be your modem for internet connection. So for those of you who have a computer and do not have an ISP or Dial up Modem you use these medium to get you system to get connected to the world. So I hove you will like this. First, in other to perfume this operation there are things (tools) you should have and here are the things we need:

1. An original phone which can browse the net
2. A SIM card (network) you want
3. A USB cable of your phone type, or a Bluetooth device if your system is not having Bluetooth.
4. A PC suit software of your phone manufacturer (example: Nokia PC Suit, Motorola PC Suit)

So do you have these items I just listed? If so then you are ready to go, just follow my steps.

1. Open your PC suit environment in your System
2. Find and locate where the internet/connection/network settings is in the PC suit environment and put in your network configuration settings.
   NB: If you don't know you SIM operators configuration settings you can get it at your network Web site or you can also call/visit the customer care centre to retrieve that. If you live within Nigeria You can check my Post on NIGERIAN NETWORK OPERATORS DEFAULT CONFIGURATIONS.
3. Connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable, or bluethoot
4. After connecting Use you PC suit to verify the connection
5. Locate and click on connect/dial/internet, and wait for the PC suit to establish the connection, then your computer is set to visit the world.

If you are confused or do not understand these method see this example using Nokia

1. Open you Nokia PC suit environment
2. Click on Get Connected

3. Chose the connection you want to use

 
4.  Then wait for it to connect, then click on finish  
5.  Then locate "connect to internet" and click

  6.  When it opens a dialog box click on settings

 
7.  Then click on Manually configure connection  
8.  Then put in your network configuration settings and click on ok  
9.   Then click on connect again in the connect to internet dialog box.  
10.  After this your computer will notify you that you are connected. Then you are ready.
